About light and shade

My exploration  amidst the multiple fields  in the art of painting is essentially focused upon its
fundamental elements: LIGHT and SHADE.

Living in Greece I have continuously experienced the penetrating interactive confrontation between in- and outgoing streams of light. This confrontation reverted an essential dynamic. To me it signified a new approach, revealing new structures and complexities of space and time and resulted into painted images appealing the viewers eye and receptiveness and materialize a state of perpetual movement.
